Common Bonnet (Casmaria erinaceus)
A smooth, heavily polished, egg-shaped shell displaying a highly glossy porcelain surface. Its pale creamy-white background is decorated with subtle, faint brown spots and a distinctive outer lip that features a row of small, sharp, dark tooth-like prongs along the lower base rim.
Each shell comes complete with an identification label.
Average size - 4 -6 cm
These shells are vintage shop stock from a coastal gift shop that closed in the 1980s. They have been stored for decades and are not recent imports.
Each shell is a unique natural specimen, lightly conditioned to highlight its rich, authentic colours and surface patterns. Rather than photographed individually, we will carefully select a shell for you from the chosen size range, ensuring excellent colour and overall quality.
