Despite its name, this shell features a highly polished olive-brown dome covered in a dense speckled pattern of tiny white and dark brown dots. Its defining features are the unique, thickened, square-like margins displaying rich brown rectangular patches on either side.

These shells are vintage shop stock from a coastal gift shop that closed in the 1980s. They have been stored for decades and are not recent imports.
