Humpbacked Conch (Gibberulus gibberulus)
A unique marine conch shell featuring an asymmetric, unevenly warped 'humpbacked' body profile. The exterior is a smooth sandy-cream, while the inner lip of its narrow opening features a highly glossy, deep purple-brown or dark crimson glaze.

Each shell comes complete with an identification label.

These shells are vintage shop stock from a coastal gift shop that closed in the 1980s. They have been stored for decades and are not recent imports.
