A delicate, beautifully sculptured miniature whelk native to deep coastal waters. It displays crisp, latticed cross-hatched ridges and a sharply pointed spire, coloured in soft muted tones of grey, white, and pale ochre.

Each shell comes complete with an identification label.

These shells are vintage shop stock from a coastal gift shop that closed in the 1980s. They have been stored for decades and are not recent imports.
