Livid Cone (Conus lividus)
A rugged cone shell featuring a nodulose, crown-like spire. The body whorl is a beautiful muted olive-tan or grey-brown, elegantly banded with a pale white central stripe and a highly distinct bright purple or bluish-livid tip at its narrow base.

Each shell comes complete with an identification label.

Average size 2.5 - 4 cm

These shells are vintage shop stock from a coastal gift shop that closed in the 1980s. They have been stored for decades and are not recent imports.
