Strawberry Conch (Conomurex luhuanus)

Natural Strawberry Conch shell, known scientifically as Conomurex luhuanus.

Recognisable for its warm pink to coral colouring and speckled surface pattern, this species has a distinctive flared lip and textured spiral form. The colour intensity and patterning vary from shell to shell.

These shells are vintage shop stock from a coastal gift shop that closed in the 1980s. They have been stored for decades and are not recent imports.
