The Seat of Growth - Wooden Seat & a Tiny Plant Pot

A tiny wooden chair with a rather unusual history.

Made in a small Devon workshop in the 1950s, these little chairs were originally intended to become seaside souvenirs. But they were never finished. Instead, they were packed away in a box, where they remained for more than seventy years.

Now they've finally found their calling.

We've paired each one with a tiny plant pot to create a wonderfully quirky home for a small plant. Each chair is a little different, with the marks and variations you'd expect from something made by hand all those years ago.

And yes, your plant gets the best seat in the house.

Each chair comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity telling the story of its rather long wait.
